Schedule
The Schedule tab is your central hub for viewing your crew schedule synced from AIMS eCrew. It shows all your flights, standby periods, hotel assignments, and off days.
Key Features
Getting Started with Schedule
-
Connect to AIMS eCrew
The first time you open the Schedule tab, you’ll be prompted to log in to AIMS eCrew through your airline’s Okta SSO. CrewHub never stores your password — authentication is handled entirely by Okta. -
View Your Schedule
Once connected, your schedule loads automatically. Events are grouped by trip and displayed in chronological order. Each trip shows report time, flight legs, hotels, and debrief time. -
View Trip Details
Tap any trip to expand it and see detailed information including block time, credits, TAFB (Time Away From Base), per diem, and required rest. -
View Crew Information
Flight cards show your crew members’ names, positions, and employee numbers for each flight. -
Calendar View
Switch to the calendar view for a month-at-a-glance look at your schedule with trip bars showing your duty periods. -
Refresh Your Schedule
Pull down to refresh, or tap the sync button to fetch the latest schedule from eCrew. The app syncs multiple date ranges to capture past and future schedules.
Your schedule is cached locally for offline access. Even without internet, you can view your upcoming trips and flight details.
CrewHub keeps your AIMS session active in the background so you don’t have to re-login frequently. If your session expires, you’ll be prompted to log in again.
Flight Status
The Flight Status page (accessible from the side drawer) shows real-time information for your flights including gate assignments, delays, and current status.
Using Flight Status
-
View Live Flight Data
Flight status is automatically linked to your schedule. Tap any upcoming flight to see live gate information, departure/arrival status, and any delays. -
Track on FlightAware
For in-progress flights, you can open FlightAware tracking directly from the flight detail view.
Open Time & Pairings
Access open time opportunities and search available pairings directly from the side drawer menu.
Open Time
The Open Time view shows available trips and giveaway opportunities from AIMS eCrew. Browse available flying, view trip details, and check for schedule conflicts before picking up trips.
Pairings
The Pairings view lets you search and browse pairing information from AIMS eCrew, giving you visibility into available trips and their details.
Open eCrew
Need to access the full eCrew interface? Tap “Open eCrew” from the side drawer to open the complete AIMS eCrew portal in an embedded browser. Your session is shared with the rest of the app, so you’re already logged in.
Airport Information
The Airports tab gives you quick access to comprehensive airport data synced from the cloud. Perfect for pre-flight planning and on-the-go reference.
Key Features
How to Use Airport Info
- Search for Airports
Tap the search bar and enter an ICAO code (like KJFK) or airport name (like “Kennedy”). Results appear instantly as you type. - View Airport Details
Tap on any airport to see detailed information including coordinates, elevation, runways, frequencies, gate codes, and more. - Check Weather

Use private notes to save personal reminders like room preferences, parking tips, or specific menu items you enjoyed.
To keep your Overnights contributions if you switch devices or reinstall the app, sign in with your Apple ID in Settings.
Logbook Export
The Logbook Export tab is your tool for transferring flight data from AIMS eCrew to LogTen Pro. You have two methods to choose from:
What You’ll Need
- Access to AIMS eCrew (your airline’s crew portal)
- LogTen Pro installed on your device
- Your AIMS login credentials
- Active internet connection
Automatic Download
Let the app download your CSV file directly from AIMS eCrew
Manual Selection
Choose a CSV file you’ve already downloaded from AIMS
Method 1: Automatic Download (Recommended)
- Launch the Download
Navigate to the Logbook Export tab and tap “Download from AIMS”. - Select Date Range
Choose your desired start and end dates. - Log Into AIMS
Enter your AIMS eCrew credentials. The app will automatically navigate through AIMS once you’re logged in. - Automatic Navigation
Sit back and relax! The app automatically navigates to the logbook section, sets your date range, and downloads the CSV file. - Review and Export
Once the download completes, review the flight count and optionally filter by date. Then tap “Export to LogTen Pro” to send flights directly to LogTen.
Method 2: Manual File Selection
- Download CSV from AIMS
Log into AIMS eCrew on your browser, navigate to your logbook, and export as CSV. - Select the File
In CrewHub, tap “Select File Manually” and choose the CSV file from the file picker. - Review and Export
Review the parsed flights and export to LogTen Pro.
Make sure the CSV file is downloaded from AIMS eCrew in the standard format. Other logbook formats may not be compatible.
Downloaded Files
The Files page (accessible from the side drawer) helps you manage all the logbook CSV files you’ve downloaded from AIMS.
- View Your Files
See all CSV files you’ve downloaded, sorted by date with the newest first. - Export to LogTen
Tap “Export to LogTen Pro” on any file to process and send it to LogTen. - Share a File
Use the “Share” button to send the CSV file via Messages, Mail, AirDrop, or save it to Files. - Delete Files
Tap “Edit” in the top right corner, then select files to delete.
Downloaded files are stored locally on your device. Deleting the app will also delete these files unless you’ve backed them up elsewhere.
Weather
CrewHub provides aviation weather data in two places: within airport detail views and as a standalone Weather page accessible from the side drawer.
Flight Category Indicators
Weather displays include color-coded flight category badges:
Categories are automatically computed from ceiling and visibility data using FAA rules.
Standalone Weather Search
- Open Weather
Tap the side drawer menu and select “Weather”. - Search by ICAO Code
Enter any airport’s ICAO code (e.g., KJFK, EGLL, LFPG) and tap Search. - Switch Between Tabs
Use the segmented control to switch between METAR (current conditions), TAF (forecast), and Daily (7-day NWS forecast, US airports only).
Weather data is sourced from the Aviation Weather Center (METAR/TAF) and National Weather Service (daily/hourly forecasts). The Daily tab is only available for US airports. Weather data is for reference only and should not be used as the sole source for flight planning.
Calendar Sync
CrewHub can automatically sync your crew schedule to your device calendar, so your trips appear alongside personal events in Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, or any other calendar app.
Setting Up Calendar Sync
- Enable Sync
Go to Settings → Calendar Sync and turn on Sync to Calendar. You’ll be prompted to grant calendar access on first use. - Choose Your Event Style
One event per trip creates a single calendar event for each pairing, spanning from report to debrief. Separate event per flight creates individual events for each flight leg, hotel stay, and reserve period. - Choose Your Calendar
Pick where events are stored. CrewHub (dedicated) creates a separate on-device calendar. Or select an existing calendar from iCloud, Google, Outlook, or any other configured account. - Optional: Include Off Days
Turn this on to add all-day “OFF” events to your calendar.
Apple Calendar vs Google Calendar
Apple Calendar displays all calendars from every account configured on your device. To see events in Google Calendar (on the web, Android devices, etc.), select one of your Google calendars from the picker. Choosing an iCloud calendar syncs events across all your Apple devices automatically.
Events sync automatically after each eCrew schedule refresh. CrewHub tracks which calendar events it created, so re-syncing updates existing events rather than creating duplicates. Switching the event style or calendar removes old events and re-creates them in the new format. You can also tap Sync Now to manually trigger a sync, or Remove All Calendar Events to clean up.
Home Screen Widget
CrewHub includes a home screen widget that shows your nearest airport information at a glance.
Adding the Widget
- Long-press your home screen and tap the “+” button in the top-left corner.
- Search for “CrewHub” in the widget gallery.
- Choose a widget size and tap “Add Widget”.
The widget uses your cached location (updated every 30 minutes when the app is active) to display the nearest airport, including its name, ICAO code, and distance. Gate code information is available with a tap but auto-hides after 2 minutes for privacy.
Settings & Privacy
The Settings page (accessible from the side drawer) gives you control over your profile, privacy preferences, and app behavior.
Profile Settings
- View Your Profile
The Profile section shows your display name, position (Captain, First Officer, or Flight Attendant), and employee number. - Edit Your Position
Tap the position field to update your current role.
Account (Sign in with Apple)
- Link Your Apple ID
Tap “Sign in with Apple” to link your account. This preserves your Overnights contributions and data if you switch devices or reinstall the app. - Disconnect
You can disconnect your Apple ID at any time. Your local data remains on the device.
Premium Subscription
CrewHub offers an optional premium subscription that unlocks additional features. Subscriptions are managed through the Apple App Store — your payment information is handled entirely by Apple and never touches CrewHub.
Privacy & Data Management
- View Privacy Policy
Read how CrewHub handles your data, including what information is collected and how it’s protected. - Export Your Data
Download a complete copy of all your information stored in CrewHub. - Delete Your Account
Permanently remove all your data from CrewHub, Firebase, and iCloud. This action cannot be undone.
Security
- Lock App Now
Immediately lock CrewHub and require Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode to unlock.
Support & Feedback
- User Guide
View this guide within the app. - Send Feedback
Report bugs, request features, or provide general feedback. Choose a category, describe the issue, and optionally include your email for follow-up. - Help & Support
Visit the CrewHub website for additional resources.
CrewHub stores your profile information in iCloud using CloudKit. Your schedule data is cached locally and never uploaded to the cloud. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. AIMS login credentials are never stored by CrewHub — authentication happens directly with the AIMS website via Okta SSO.
How Logbook Export Works
Here’s what happens behind the scenes when you export to LogTen Pro:
- CSV Parsing
The app reads your AIMS CSV file and extracts flight information including dates, aircraft types, departure/arrival airports, and flight times. - Data Validation
Each flight is validated to ensure all required fields are present and properly formatted. - Format Conversion
Your flight data is converted from AIMS format to LogTen Pro’s expected format. - Export to LogTen
The formatted data is sent directly to LogTen Pro, which opens automatically and imports your flights.
Frequently Asked Questions
Schedule
Q: How does CrewHub get my schedule?
A: CrewHub connects to your airline’s AIMS eCrew portal through an embedded browser. When you log in via Okta SSO, the app extracts your schedule data and caches it locally on your device. Your credentials are never stored by CrewHub.
Q: How far ahead does the schedule show?
A: CrewHub syncs multiple date ranges from eCrew, typically covering 30 days back and 2-3 months forward. The exact range depends on your airline’s published schedule periods.
Q: Can I view my schedule offline?
A: Yes! Your schedule is cached locally on your device. You can view all your trips and flight details without an internet connection. You’ll need to connect to refresh and get the latest changes.
Q: Is my schedule data uploaded to the cloud?
A: No. Your schedule data is stored only on your device and is never uploaded to any cloud service. Only your profile information syncs to iCloud.
Logbook
Q: How long does the automatic download take?
A: Typically 30-60 seconds, depending on your internet connection and how many flights you’re downloading.
Q: Can I export my entire career logbook at once?
A: Yes! You can select any date range in AIMS. For very large logbooks (several years), you may want to export in smaller chunks.
Q: Will this create duplicate entries in LogTen?
A: LogTen Pro has its own duplicate detection. However, it’s best practice to filter your date range to only export new flights you haven’t previously imported.
Airports & Weather
Q: Why don’t I see the Daily forecast tab for some airports?
A: The Daily forecast uses the National Weather Service API, which only covers US airports (ICAO codes starting with K, PA, PH, PG, or TJ). International airports show only METAR and TAF.
Q: Are my personal airport notes shared with anyone?
A: No. Personal airport notes are stored only on your device and are never uploaded to any server.
Overnights
Q: Can other crew members see my notes?
A: Public notes are visible to all CrewHub users. Private notes (marked with a lock icon) are visible only to you.
Q: Do I need to sign in with Apple to use Overnights?
A: No. You can use Overnights without signing in. However, signing in preserves your contributions if you switch devices or reinstall.
General
Q: Can I use this app on multiple devices?
A: Yes! CrewHub works on any compatible iOS or iPadOS device. Your profile syncs via iCloud, and signing in with Apple keeps your Overnights data in sync.
Q: Do I need an internet connection?
A: You need an internet connection to sync your schedule from eCrew, fetch weather, and use Overnights. However, your cached schedule, downloaded airport information, and contacts are always available offline.
Q: Is my AIMS password stored by the app?
A: No. When you log into AIMS, you’re logging into the actual AIMS website via Okta SSO. CrewHub never stores or has access to your credentials.
Q: How secure is CrewHub?
A: CrewHub uses industry-standard security. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. You can lock the app with Face ID/Touch ID. We never store your AIMS credentials. Schedule data stays on your device only.
Q: Can I delete my account and data?
A: Yes. Go to Settings > “Delete My Account” to permanently remove all your data. You can export your data first if needed.
Q: I found a bug or have a feature request. How do I report it?
A: Go to Settings > “Send Feedback” to report bugs, request features, or provide general feedback.
